High Wind Warning For Putnam County; Outages Reported
NYSEG reports only a few outages as of 9 p.m. Hudson Valley Weather predicts high winds between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m.
With a High Wind Warning issued for Putnam County, the National Weather Service added to its two notices about flooding. Hudson Valley Weather predicted high winds in the eastern half of the HV, which could experience wind gusts of 65 mph.
"That’s potentially near hurricane force gusts for areas near the NY/CT border," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.
NYSEG reported scattered outages in Putnam Valley, Carmel, and Patterson as of 9 p.m.
