Hour-by-Hour Forecast for Thursday's Storm in Southeast

Watch for icy patches if you're driving.

BREWSTER, NY — The storm swinging into the Hudson Valley is what Bill Potter at Hudson Valley Weather called a "potpourri" of rain and snow.

"There are a lot of little nuances to this system," Potter said. Putnam County is under a Winter Storm Advisory till 1 p.m. expecting wet snow followed by rain, with an accumulation of 1-3 inches (more snow is expected at higher elevations and north of I-84). The northern Hudson Valley could accumulate up to 8 inches.
