I-684 Work Thursday to Close Lanes from Brewster to Purdys

On Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., lane closures are expected on Interstate 684, northbound and southbound, between Exit 8 (Hardscrabble Road) and Exit 9E/W (Interstate 84), while crews perform maintenance activities

Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices, including signs.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
