I-84 Lane Closure Coming 10AM-3PM Thursday

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, the right lane of Interstate 84 eastbound, between Exit 20N (Route 22 Pawling) and the Connecticut border, will be closed so crews can perform construction activities.

The state DOT warns that motorists may experience delays.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers.

Remember: fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
