I-84 Work: Westbound Exit 20 Closed Nights Sept. 12, 19, 26

Westbound Interstate 84 Exit 20 ramp, to Interstate 684 south, is expected to be closed the following dates and times, for crews to perform maintenance activities:

• Saturday, September 12 at 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday, September 13
• Saturday, September 19 at 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday, September 20
• Saturday, September 26 at 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday, September 27

Motorists on westbound Interstate 84 wanting to travel south on Interstate 684 are advised to follow the marked detour, which will direct traffic from Exit 20 to go north on Interstate 684/Route 22, then to take Exit 10 (Route 6/202), turn right on to Route 6/202 West, and then turn right to enter Interstate 684 South.

Motorists may experience delays.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers.

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
