Indictment in Death Of Putnam Resident At SUNY Potsdam
The man accused of shooting Elizabeth Howell was indicted.

POTSDAM, NY — The man accused of shooting SUNY Potsdam music student Elizabeth Howell Feb. 18 has been indicted, The Journal News reported.
Michael Snow, 31, of Massena, New York, will be arraigned April 11 in St. Lawrence County Court on charges including second-degree murder and first-degree manslaughter, the newspaper said. Back in February he was arrested on just one charge: second-degree murder.
According to TJN, investigators suspect Snow may have shot her from his car.

They identified him from his car, which had been caught on surveillance tapes that day and for which police began to search as the investigation began.
Howell, a graduate of Brewster High School, was shot while on her way home from class at the upstate college. A cellist with the university's Crane Symphony Orchestra, the 21-year-old Patterson resident was expected to graduate this year.

District Attorney Gary Pasqua repeated that the two were not believed to have known each other, the paper reported.
