Lane Closures on Rte. 312 Start Monday, include I-84 Exit Ramp
Crews will be surveying and then paving.

Lane closures, with alternating traffic controlled by flaggers, are expected along Route 312 between Route 6 and Interstate 84 in Southeast, Putnam County, beginning Monday, April 18.
Closures are expected to occur weeknights between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. Work is anticipated to be completed on April 22, weather permitting.
Additionally, the westbound Interstate 84 Exit 19 ramp to Route 312 is expected to be closed from 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 19 to 6 a.m.Wednesday, April 20 and from 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, to 6 a.m. Thursday, April 21. A detour will be in place for this closure, but motorists should anticipate delays.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices, including signs.
Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
