Last Chance: Primary Voter Registration

Local deadlines you don't want to miss.

Registration for the the Sept. 13, 2012 state and local primaries are as follows:

MAIL REGISTRATION 
Application must be postmarked no later than Friday (Aug. 17) and received by the Board of Elections no later than Aug. 24 to be eligible to vote.

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION 
You may register at the Board of Elections (on Old Route 6 in Carmel) on any business day throughout the year, but, to be eligible to vote in the state and local Primary, your application must be received no later than Friday.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS 
Notices of change of address from registered voters received by Aug. 24 by the BOE must be processed and entered in the records in time for the primaries.
