Letter to the Editor: Crossroads 312 Project Doesn't Sound Exciting at All
The writer is concerned about the project's size and value to local residents.

Why should anyone feel excited about Crossroads is beyond me.
A 100-room hotel without a restaurant and a conference center - more for the transient than family-style; four stores, one of which is 92,000 square feet and the others the size of which are akin to that of a strip mall - drug store, another bank.
And the jobs - yes seasonal construction - any assurance that they be union - no.

And lastly, the vaunted tax breaks, the majority of which will fill the county coffers.
So Mr. Domin think carefully - this project cannot go forward without a zoning change. Why doesn’t the developer abide by the Master Plan and codes that are on the books.
