Local Resident, Montgomery Delaney, to run for the NYS Supreme Court
Katonah resident, Montgomery Delaney Esq., has been nominated to run for a seat on the NYS Supreme Court in the 9th Judicial District.

Mr. Delaney is 57 years old and resides in Katonah with his wife Linda and their children Conor and Cecille. He has three older children from a previous marriage, Matthew (31) who is a professional athletic trainer, Jacklyn (29) who was recently admitted to the California Bar and will be marrying on September 27, 2014, and Brian (28) who is an audio/video engineer with a Manhattan record company.
Mr. Delaney’s life has been one of unique and varied service which includes, the United States Marine Corps, the New York City Police Department, time spent as a teacher, college professor and athletic coach, and 16 years as practicing trial attorney, representing the victims of all manner of fraud, negligence and abuse.
Mr. Delaney is also a long and well known singer/songwriter here in the Hudson Valley, having performed at numerous venues in the past 25 years and also presenting the genre in may places around region. In fact, when he ran unsuccessfully for the County Court last year, Katonah’s own Sloan Wainwright performed a concert on his behalf alongside the well known acoustic duo, Aztec Two Step.

Nominated by the Republican Party, Mr. Delaney is a non affiliated Independent voter who does not consider a position on the Court to be political in nature but rather one that should be occupied by a competent practitioner of the law who has the people skills to deal with folks from all walks of life, that may come into the courthouse seeking justice. He counts people from all parts of the political spectrum as friends and supporters and he humbly asks each of you to look beyond partisanship and consider his history of service and his candidacy for this important position.
His campaign is seeking all manner of support in the counties of Westchester, Rockland, Putnam. Orange and Dutchess. He welcomes anyone who wishes to help in any way. November 4th is fast approaching...don’t hesitate to get involved.
