Come to the Veterinary Center for Birds & Exotics on Sunday, November 20 for the chance to get your copy of Unlikely Companions signed, or ask Dr. Hess a question about your exotic pet. Thinking of buying an exotic pet? Ask her about that too! The event will be held from 12:00pm until 3:00pm.

Dr. Hess is also running a special promotion in her Veterinary Center for Birds & Exotics in Bedford Hills: Anyone who brings in a print or email receipt of purchasing Unlikely Companions can get 10% off an exam at Dr. Hess's animal hospital; this promotion will run from now until February 1, 2017.
ABOUT LAURIE HESS:
Dr. Laurie Hess is the founder and owner of the Veterinary Center for Birds & Exotics. She graduated summa cum laude from Yale University, and received her veterinary medical degree from Tufts University. She is board-certified by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in avian medicine, and is a member of the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians and the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians. Dr. Hess has lectured all over the country and internationally, has written for various veterinary publications, and has appeared on shows such as FOX’s Good Day New Yorkand the Martha Stewart Show. She has published research on exotic pet nutrition, and has presented it in the US and Europe. Her first book, UNLIKELY COMPANIONS, is being published by Da Capo Press on November 1, 2016.
