Loretta Brown, of Brewster, NY, died Tuesday July 9, 2013 at Putnam Ridge Nursing Home. She was 88 years old.
Loretta was born on October 9, 1924 in New York, daughter to the late Ben and Eva Brown. She lived in New York City for years before moving to Mahopac, NY.
She married Allen Brown, they met in NYC following his move to the United States after being in the concentration camps during WWII. Mr. Brown predeceased his wife in 1999.
Loretta enjoyed artwork, she loved to paint. She loved to watch Judge Judy on TV.
Loretta is survived by her nephew Mitch Brown of Michigan and her niece Vicki Herman of Nevada. She was predeceased by her son Milton Brown.
A private cremation took place. Beecher Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
