Men Who Cook 2017: Make a Reservation Now

BREWSTER, NY — The Rotary Club of Patterson will hold its 21st Annual Men Who Cook on May 6. More than 35 chef stations, including local restaurants; some celebrity chefs as well as great home taught chefs —these guys will once again impress everyone with a buffet-style tasting of specialties ranging from appetizers to entrees, and of course, desserts.

“Men Who Cook” is a very popular event for our Club,” says Patterson Rotarian Michael Ingber, who has chaired the event for the last 10 years. “Some of our patrons look forward to returning each year because it’s such a great night. And it’s for a good cause, no check, tax, or tip!”

Patterson Rotary Club invites their guests to sit back and enjoy a fun, casual evening with their ‘bring your own bottle’ policy. Guests have also been known to bring their own stemware to enjoy their drinking preferences! Bottled water, soda and other non-alcoholic beverages are available.

As is done every year, the club provides a unique selection of prizes, packages, gift baskets, and individual items up for raffle, silent and live auction. Prizes range from a collection of restaurant gift certificates, wine and liquor baskets, outings for all interests, the favorite ‘Pandora’s Box’, and much more.

This year Tompkins Mahopac Bank is being honored in recognition of their giving for so many years to all of the not-for-profits and community service-based organizations in Putnam County. Tompkins Mahopac Bank has also shown tremendous support for projects that help better serve Putnam County to improve the quality of life for its residents.

All monies raised at Men Who Cook will go toward not-for-profits, worthy organizations, and scholarships in the local tri-county area.
