NYSEG Reports Less than 1,000 Still Out Of Power In Putnam

The power company gives 11:45 p.m. Tuesday as the estimated restoration time for many of the outages.

UPDATE 1 p.m. — NYSEG reports 848 customers still without power as of 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. Most of the outages are in Southeast, where 321 customers are out of power, up slightly from Tuesday morning.


PUTNAM COUNTY, NY 8 a.m. — NYSEG continues to work on restoring power to customers in Putnam County who lost electricity during the overnight storm Sunday and gusty high winds Monday. As of 8 a.m. Tuesday, 1,325 customers remained without power, according to the NYSEG outage list.

Most of those were in Carmel and Southeast.

There were 613 customers out in Carmel, most of those in Mahopac. There were 308 customers out in Southeast, all of those in Brewster.

Most of the 176 customers out in Kent were in the Carmel section of town. There were 127 customers still out in Patterson and 88 in Putnam Valley.
