More Lane Closures At I-84, 684 Interchange

Nightly closures are expected for the westbound Interstate 84 exit ramp to Exit 20S (Interstate 684 south) beginning Monday and running through Friday. The work will be done between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., weather permitting.

Follow the posted detour and anticipate delays.

Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.

This year’s work zone safety campaign, “Flaggers have families too,” is designed to remind motorists that flagging personnel are not attempting to disrupt traffic – they are simply doing their jobs and want to get home safely at the end of each work day.
