More Severe Weather Possible: Hundreds Without Power in Brewster

Depending on where you live you’ve already experienced severe weather early this morning and it’s forecast to possibly stick around through the afternoon.

A violent thunderstorm rolled through Putnam County overnight leaving more than 400 customers without power, most of them in Brewster.

More storms are possible today. The National Weather Service says for northern Westchester there is a chance for more showers and a thunderstorm in the morning and again in the evening.

Some heavy winds and rains are possible during this time period.
