New Flood Advisory Issued For Lower Hudson Valley

Small stream flooding will continue through the day, the National Weather Service said.

The National Weather Service has issued a new Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and northern Westchester.

At 10:32 a.m., the NWS said residual minor poor drainage and small stream flooding was continuing Wednesday morning, and would recede slowly through the day.

Some locations that will experience flooding include New City, Newburgh, Middletown, Ossining, Monsey, Nanuet, Haverstraw, Tarrytown, Dobbs Ferry, Suffern, Port Jervis, Mahopac, Monroe, Lake Carmel, Walden, Nyack, West Point, Warwick and Tappan.

It's in effect until 6 p.m. Thursday.
