NWS Issues Hazardous Weather Outlook: Brewster's Weekend
Here's what to expect for the upcoming weekend in Southeast.

SOUTHEAST, NY â Thereâs more precipitation headed to the Hudson Valley through the weekend, enough for the National Weather Service to issue a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties. But thanks to rising temperatures, it will be liquid and not frozen for the most part.
Yes, a snowstorm is moving east from Iowa and could affect the mid-Hudson Valley Friday in terms of snow showers. Hudson Valley Weather said that the approaching warm front will allow some snow showers to develop across the region â light, if at all, in the southern portion of the valley and a dusting to an inch as you head north.
But for the rest of the weekend, be sure and take the umbrella along. The NWS advisory says:

Moderate to heavy rain may produce urban and poor drainage flooding from late Saturday through Sunday night. There is also a limited chance for minor flooding on some of the flashier rivers and streams across northeast New Jersey, the Lower Hudson Valley, and southern Connecticut. Any flooding impacts will be highly dependent on the location of heaviest rainfall, which is still of lower confidence at this time.
Temps will be milder: mid-40s during the day and above freezing at night.
Here is the forecast from the National Weather Service for Putnam County:
