NY Allots $$ To Pave Northern Parts of I-684

That includes some of the roughest sections south of the I-84 interchange.

NEW YORK, — $62.2 million has been allotted by New York State for projects to pave and repair miles of state roads across the Hudson Valley through this summer and fall. The infrastructure investment includes two projects on I-684. The projects will be completed this year.

  • 23 miles on Interstate 684 from Interstate 84 in the town of Southeast, Putnam County, to Hardscrabble Road in the town of North Salem, Westchester County ($55.2 million)
  • 18 miles on Interstate 684 from Route 172 to Harris Road in the town of Bedford, Westchester County ($6.5 million)

"This will be of great benefit to the entire 684 corridor," said North Salem Supervisor Warren Lucas.
