NY Police Say Driver with 2 Kids in the Car was Drunk

The Danbury resident faces a felony DWI charge in Southeast town court.

On July 19, 2015, New York State Police arrested Kleber C. Rodriguez-Guzman, 35, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated under Leandra’s Law, a Class E Felony.

Troopers stopped the vehicle the Danbury CT man was operating on Danbury Road for erratic operation. While interviewing Rodriguez-Guzman, police observed clues that indicated he was intoxicated at the time of the stop.

He was charged with Aggravated DWI under Leandra’s Law for driving while intoxicated with two child passengers under the age of 16.

Rodriguez-Guzman provided a positive breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .14 percent. He was arraigned before the Town of Southeast Court and is schedule to re-appear in court Aug. 11.
