Charles ‘Charlie’ A. DeSalvo, a resident of Brewster, NY, died peacefully on Wednesday January 19, 2022, in Carmel, NY. He was 78 years old.

Born on December 9, 1943, in Bronx, NY, Charlie was the son of Anthony and Carmela (Talone) DeSalvo. He graduated from Evander Childs High School in Bronx, NY.

On November 25, 1983, Charlie married the love of his life, Nancy Mascetti in Larchmont, NY.

Charlie was a self-employed Electrician, owning and operating DeSalvo Electric in Brewster, NY for over 30 years, retiring 13 years ago.

He loved horseback riding and was an avid Yankees and New York Giants fan.

Besides his wife, of 38 years Nancy, Charlie is survived by his four children: Anthony and his wife Sandy of Brewster, NY, Charles of Danbury, CT, Nicholas LaBanca and his wife, Darlene of Hollywood, FL, and Nicole Sadowski of Brewster, NY; as well as his five grandchildren: Alyssa, Dante, Chase, Anthony, and Gabriella. He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Magnotta.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 27, 2022, 10AM at St. Lawrence O’ Toole Church, Brewster, NY. A private cremation will follow.
