Odell To Present Putnam County 2020 Budget

County Executive MaryEllen Odell and the Putnam County Legislature invite Putnam County residents, business owners, and not-for-profit organizations to the 2020 budget presentation.

It starts at 7 p.m. at the Putnam County Golf Course located at 187 Hill St., Mahopac New York, during a formal meeting of the Putnam County Legislature.

“The 2020 Budget that we will be presenting to the Putnam County Legislature and the public will reflect our commitment to deliver both mandated and quality of life programs, while at the same time satisfy our obligations as County leaders who believe in the importance of balancing our fiscal and social responsibilities," Odell said.

Beforehand, Putnam County government will once again host the “Market Place” to highlight local business organizations and not-for-profits.

The “Market Place" starts at 5 p.m. and showcases a number of services offered for families through various County departments such as Health, Social Services and the Youth Bureau. The county's new Economic Development Corporation and Putnam County Tourism Department will be part of the "Market Place."
