Putnam County Executive Lifts State of Emergency
Stay off the roads unless necessary, so highway crews can clean them effectively, officials ask.

Putnam County Executive MaryEllen Odell has announced the State of Emergency for Putnam County is lifted effective 8 a.m.
This includes the travel ban on our roads but everyone should only use the roads if necessary so highway crews can clean the roads effectively without incident, officials said.
Today, there will be no county wide transportation available from Putnam County Moves. Full service will resume Jan. 28.

In addition the Office of Senior Resources—all county offices—will be closed today and resume services on Wednesday.
“The worst of the storm is over but there is still work to be done to insure the safety of our residents,“ said County Executive MaryEllen Odell. “ Please use caution today when traveling and if possible check on any neighbors and family members.”
