Putnam Deputies Find Wanted Mahopac Woman in Parking Lot

Warrants were out for her from Yorktown, Brewster, Poughkeepsie and the state police.

Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith reports the arrest of a Mahopac woman who was wanted by several jurisdictions.

On March 3, deputies assigned to the Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit were on patrol in the parking lot of a shopping center in Mahopac when they observed a woman whom they believed may have been wanted due to outstanding warrants.

The deputies made contact and identified her as Celina Savoca, 21, of Agor Lane, Mahopac. The deputies determined through a criminal history check that Savoca was wanted by the Town of Yorktown Police Department, the Village of Brewster Police Department, the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department and the Cortlandt Barracks of the New York State Police on charges of Criminal Mischief and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
