Putnam Graduates 3 From 144th Police Academy
Two county sheriff's deputies and a member of the Kent town police force were among 59 graduates congratulated at a ceremony Friday.
The 144th sesssion of the Westchester County Police Academy culminated Friday with a graduation ceremony. Graduates of the Basic Police Recruit Class included Daniel W. Meury and Brian A. Neary, with the Putnam County Sheriff's Department, and Ryan J. Piekarski, Town of Kent Police.
There were 59 members of the graduating class. They came from Putnam, Westchester and even Long Island, and they're going to municipal and county law enforcement agencies as well as the Purchase College police.
