Putnam Hospital Center Hosts Women's Health Symposium

The Women's Health Symposium will be held may 14 in Carmel.

CARMEL, N.Y. – Putnam Hospital Center will host a Women’s Health Symposium from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 14, in the Michael T. Weber Community Auditorium, 672 Stoneleigh Ave., Carmel.

The symposium will feature several physicians on the medical staff at Putnam Hospital Center who will discuss women’s health issues and treatment options from breast cancer to gynecological procedures to urinary problems.

The speakers include Dr. Lyda Rojas, a breast surgeon with CareMount Medical, Dr. Susan Vosko, an obstetrician and gynecologist with CareMount Medical, Dr. Katie Burgess, an obstetrician and gynecologist with CareMount Medical, Dr. Sheldon Axelrod, a urologist with CareMount Medical and Dr. Mark Nogueira, a urologist with CareMount Medical.

A question-and-answer period will follow the presentations. A continental breakfast will be served from 9 to 9:30 a.m.
