Putnam Issues Alert Over Coronavirus At Fuente de Gracia Church
Anyone who worked at or visited the church Sunday evening may have been exposed.
BREWSTER, NY — Putnam County health officials have issued an alert for anyone who worked at or visited Fuente de Gracia Church at 2 Marvin Ave. from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, warning them they may have been exposed to the coronavirus.
A member of the public who has tested positive for coronavirus was at the church during that time, health officials said.
Please watch for symptoms of COVID-19 which include fever, chills, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.

As of Thursday, Putnam had seen a 1-day spike in positive tests, with 12 people testing positive out of the 422 tests recorded, a daily rate of 2.8 percent. However, according to state data, the 7-day rolling positivity rate for Putnam was 1.6 percent.
