Putnam Schools Make Pre-Storm Schedule Changes

BREWSTER, NY — Many school districts across the region are making announcements about schedules in anticipation of the coming storm. Here's information about districts in Putnam and northern Westchester:

Bedford: all programs from 6 p.m. onward Tuesday are canceled

Brewster: All schools are on a one-hour early dismissal: Brewster HS: 1:29 HH Wells MS: 1:36 CV Starr: 2:15 JFK Elementary: 2:30 p.m.

Carmel: schools will dismiss 1 hour early today due to the uncertainty of the start time of the impending storm. After-school activities are canceled.

Chappaqua: all programs from 6 p.m. onward Tuesday are canceled

Garrison: after-school programs are canceled

Haldane: after-school programs are canceled. Board meeting and public hearing are rescheduled for Thursday

Lakeland: afternoon and evening programs canceled

North Rockland: Early dismissal. All after-school programs canceled. The Board of Education Meeting for tonight has been moved up to 6 PM.

Peekskill: after-school activities and Board of Education meeting canceled

Putnam-Northern Westchester BOCES: after-school and evening activities, programs and meetings are canceled.
