Putnam Sheriffs Probe Gas Station Robbery In Philipstown

Investigators ask for the public's help in identifying a suspect.

PHILIPSTOWN, NY — The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is investigating a robbery at the Gulf gas station on Route 9D.

The Sheriff's Office said a man (pictured above) came in at about 7:30 a.m., robbed the clerk, and ran away. No injuries were reported.

The gas station and market is at 1122 Route 9D, adjacent to the Garrison School.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking any witnesses who may have seen any pedestrians or vehicles in the area at that time or during the pre-dawn hours that day to contact the Sheriff’s office at 845-225-4300. The Sheriff's Office is also asking people in the area to review any video surveillance they may have and call if they see anything that may help.
