Putnam Valley Man Accused Of Shoplifting At Southeast Store

He was arrested at the store, police said.

SOUTHEAST, NY — A Putnam Valley man is accused of shoplifting at the Kohl's on Independent Way in Southeast.

Putnam County Sheriff, Robert L. Langley Jr. reported that Deputy Shawn Iarussi was dispatched to Kohl’s Department Store at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 3, for a reported larceny in progress.

Iarussi was assisted by a Kohl’s Loss Prevention Employee to identify the larceny suspect.

Ronald Caccioippoli, 55, of Putnam Lake, was placed under arrest and transported to the Putnam County Correctional Facility for processing. Caccioippoli was charged with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree ( Class E Felony).

He was arraigned by the Honorable Justice Anthony Mole of the Town of Patterson Justice Court, on behalf of the Town of Southeast Justice Court. Justice Mole released Caccioippoli on his own recognizance, pending a future court date in the Town of Southeast Justice court.
