Chairman Bill Gouldman announced the party's candidates for the upcoming November Election.

Bill Gouldman, Chairman of the Putnam Valley Republican Committee, announced today the full slate of Republican candidates for the upcoming November Election. Jackie Annabi is the party’s choice for Town Supervisor, newcomers Stacey Tompkins and Christian Russo for Town Board and Mark Pawera for Highway Superintendent.

Jackie said “I’m very pleased with the Republican candidates. They represent a diverse cross section of Putnam Valley residents, not a small interest group. Our candidates are all bright and energetic. They have the best interests of the town at heart. We intend to run an informative, positive, issue oriented campaign that Putnam Valley residents will be proud to support."

Stacey Tompkins is the President of Tompkins Excavating in Putnam Valley. She is a very successful small business owner and manager, overseeing every aspect of the business. She serves on several Board of Directors in the area and has received a number of prestigious awards. Stacey states her candidacy would signal a new beginning. “I am excited and look forward to being a 1st time candidate in the political process and look forward to bringing my experience and knowledge to the town I love."

Christian Russo, a lifelong resident of Putnam County, husband and father of three school-aged children is a Doctor of Chiropractic who owns and operates a successful local business, Family Chiropractic and Injury. Christian loved growing up in Putnam County. “I am running for Town Board because I want my kids to have the same opportunities my wife and I had. Town government is the back bone of our community and I am concerned about our future. I believe my background and experience will be a beneficial force for our town."

Mark Pawera is a highly qualified individual whose experiences include Heavy Equipment Operator, Welder/Fabricator, Head Mechanic, Field Mechanic, Superintendent, Foreman and Contractor. Under his leadership our highway department will smoothly transition from the first-rate leadership of Larry Cobb.
