Rash of Car Larcenies in Putnam County: State Police
Southeast and Brewster residents are among those making themselves vulnerable.
New York State Police from the Brewster barracks continue to investigate an increased amount of stolen vehicle complaints and valuables stolen from vehicles.
These crimes are occurring in residential neighborhoods, police said.
And, they said, they are made much easier by residents who leave their car keys and valuables unsecured within their cars.
The State Police advise residents to lock their cars and not leave or store valuable property inside.
