Reminder: Winter Parking Rules Go Into Effect Dec. 1 in Brewster

The overnight parking rules go into effect in Brewster Dec. 1 and last until March 15.

You can park till later on Main Street than on any other village street, but even Main Street parking is prohibited for five pre-dawn hours.

• Main Street: 2-7AM
• All other streets: 11PM to 7AM

For residents who need on-street parking, parking permits are available for the Tri-State Parking Lot. The price is $50 for 7PM to 7AM or $100 for 24-hour parking.

That permit would be valid from Dec. 1, 2014 through March 15, 2015
