Revoked License For Skipping Drunk Driving Class: Police
Police stopped a driver on Route 9 March 4.
Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr. reports the arrest of a Wappingers Falls man for driving with a revoked license.
Deputy Kevin Radovich observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation on Route 9 in Philipstown at 2:23 p.m. March 4. He stopped the car and checked the New York State Department of Motor Vehicle computer system. That revealed that the driver, David Avery, 28, had a revoked driver’s license, police said.
It had been revoked for failure to attend or satisfactorily participate in a NYS Drinking Driver Program and for driving with .08% or more alcohol in his blood.

Avery was placed under arrest for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the Third Degree (Misdemeanor) and was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Philipstown Justice Court.
