Save the Date: VA Health Care Info Fair
VA Hudson Valley will offer services and take photos for the ID card.
The Department of Veterans Affairs Hudson Valley Health Care System is hosting an information fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its community based outpatient clinic in Carmel April 18.
Employees from VA Hudson Valley will offer services such as registering for VA health care, taking pictures for the ID card for registered Veterans, and blood pressure checks. In addition, representatives will be on hand from the Women Veterans Program, MyHealtheVet Internet-based service, Virtual Health programs, the Caregiver program and others to offer assistance.
In addition, the Putnam County Clerk will be available for Veterans to obtain their Putnam County FAVOR Card. Staff from the Putnam County Veterans’ Service Agency and the New York State Division of Veterans Affairs will be available to provide information on the additional services available for Veterans and their families.

Veterans are asked to bring a copy of Defense Department Form 214, Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty, with them to expedite services.
