Visitation, Service for Janice Mary Dyas

Janice Mary Dyas of Brewster, New York, died suddenly on Sunday May 3rd at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, NY, at the age of 52.

She was born July 11, 1962 in Bronx, NY, the daughter of John Rivard of Brewster, NY and Barbara (Anderson) Laguidice (Tom) of Somers, NY.

Janice was a 1980 Brewster High School graduate. On October 15, 1994 she married Michael Dyas in Brewster, NY.

Besides her husband Mike and her parents, Janice is survived by her children; Brittany Lancey, Amanda Dyas and Cameron Dyas all of Brewster, NY; a sister Jennifer Rivard of Hudson, NY; and her brothers John Rivard of Greenwich, CT and James Rivard of Danbury, CT.

Calling hours will be held today from 5 to 9pm at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Wed. May 6, 2015, 1pm at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY. Internment will follow in Old Southeast Cemetery in Brewster.
