Sex Offender, Former Croton Kung Fu Teacher, Moves To Putnam
The 75-year-old is classified as a high-risk sex offender by New York State.

MAHOPAC, NY — A violent sex offender has reported moving to Putnam County from Westchester. Frank DeMaria was found guilty in 2012 of abusing students at a martial arts studio in Croton-on-Hudson.
DeMaria's conviction stemmed from sexual contact with four 9-year-old girls in October 2010. Victims told police he "instructed them, on more than one occasion, to grab his penis and to squeeze and pull repeatedly," then-Westchester District Attorney Janet DiFiore said at the time.
On the Division of Criminal Justice Services website, DeMaria, 75, is classified as a sexually violent offender at Risk Level 3, meaning he is considered at "high risk of repeat offense."
