Snow Ends (How Much Did We Get?), Cold Front Coming

Snow showers stop this morning and temps will rise to a high Brewster and Southeast won't see again for a couple of days.

Intermittent snow showers will end before 11AM, according to meteorologists.

The National Weather Service reports 5.1 inches fell in Armonk, 3.4 inches in Carmel, 3.5 inches in Shrub Oak and 2.9 in Peekskill. Again we missed that bullet—8 inches fell in New Canaan CT.

Temperatures should rise into the mid-40s by this afternoon as the clouds disperse.

Enjoy it while you can, because a cold front follows this afternoon.

“Behind the cold front… a strong NW wind kicks up, and we’ll see the temperatures begin to tumble yet again,” says Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. “Things really start to feel awful on Sunday… as highs will struggle to reach 32 degrees, and the wind howls out of the northwest. That will generate wind chills in the teens and 20s.”

Then back into the 40s by Wednesday.
