Snow Makes Putnam School Districts Change Schedules
Here's the list of Groundhog Day school changes.

BREWSTER, NY — Due to the overnight snowfall and temperatures below freezing, many school districts in Putnam and northern Westchester have announced schedule changes. Most are delays of two to three hours, but in some there will be no school for students.
In Bedford, that's because Friday was a scheduled early release day for students to accommodate professional development for staff.
On the website, district officials said: "In addition to having scheduled presenters, our bus company informed us that because we were scheduled for early dismissal, they cannot staff a regular dismissal. Therefore, doing a 2-hour delay and canceling the PD for staff was not an option. The slushy roads and falling temperatures are preventing an on-time opening; safety must come first. Therefore, we must cancel school for students. We apologize for any inconvenience."
