Snow, Sleet, Freezing Rain: Hazardous Weather Outlook for Putnam

Putnam, Rockland and northern Westchester counties are under a Hazardous Weather Outlook from the National Weather Service Friday morning.

A light wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain is possible this morning. Some light icing on untreated roads and surfaces may occur.

In addition, there's a Winter Weather Advisory out in the north and west of the HV for Friday.

"That is due to an approaching warm front, that will trigger some light snow and sleet showers out in front of it," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.
