Somers Man Charged With Drug Possession In Southeast
He is accused of having fentanyl and crack in his car, the Putnam County Sheriff said.
SOUTHEAST, NY — Putnam County Sheriff Kevin J. McConville reports the arrest Sept. 2 of a Somers man on narcotics possession charges.
Members of the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Unit conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation on Route 6 in the Town of Southeast, police said. They alleged a subsequent investigation found the driver had a quantity of fentanyl and crack cocaine, both controlled substances.
William E. Felling 3rd, 40, was charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree.

Felling was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Miller in Town of Carmel Court, and was released on his own recognizance. He is due in Southeast town court Sept. 15.
