Southeast Adds Air Conditioners To E-Waste List
Everyone has a lot of stuff that should go here instead of into the regular trash.
SOUTHEAST, NY — As we accumulate more old items like remotes and game consoles and printers, Southeast has added window air conditioners to the list of acceptable items that may be thrown away through the town's e-waste disposal program.
The drop-off dates, times and location will coincide with the town’s e-waste schedule. There will be a $10 charge per unit. AC units are acceptable with or without freon.
The disposal site at 10 Palmer Road is for use by town residents only. Proof of residence will be required. A driver’s license is preferred.
