Southeast Dental Clerk Gave Secret Family&Friends Discounts: police

On June 9, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Brewster Barracks arrested Vilma Nokaj, 41, of Mahopac, NY.

Nokaj, a former employee of a dental office in the Town of Southeast, was accused of unlawfully discounting the dental accounts of 8 family members and friends totaling $8,200. The accounts were discounted between January of 2014 and August of 2014.

Nokaj was charged with Grand Larceny 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony, Falsifying Business Records 1st Degree, a Class E Felony, and Forgery 3rd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Nokaj was arraigned before the Town of Patterson Court and released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to return to the Town of Southeast Court July 14.
