Southeast Town Offices Will Close Early Friday

The winter storm that arrived around noon is expected to send temperatures plummeting 24 hours later.

SOUTHEAST, NY — Town offices will close 90 minutes early on Friday, Southeast officials announced Thursday.

Wild holiday weather — a blast of Arctic air following a drenching winter storm — is expected to send temperatures in Southeast plummeting from 51 degrees at 7 a.m. to 26 degrees by 4 p.m.

Town officials plan to follow their announced holiday schedule next week, re-opening Dec. 28.
