The NWS says black ice is a morning commute hazard for Southeast and Brewster.
BREWSTER, NY — The National Weather Service has issued a warning about black ice overnight and into the morning commute.
Temperatures well below freezing have resulted in redevelopment of areas of black ice, as any melted snow and slush refreeze. These conditions should persist tonight into at least the morning rush. Take extra caution when out driving and walking.
