Spring Snow Arriving: Hour-by-hour Forecast for Brewster, Southeast

We tell you when to expect the frozen precipitation.

A light snow is forecast to overspread the lower Hudson Valley Sunday afternoon into Monday.

While the National Weather Service has continued to post a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties, it is calling the coming storm a โ€œlight snowfall eventโ€ for our area.

No more than 2 inches is expected. Long Island and points toward the northeast will likely see more.

AccuWeather Meteorologist Brian Thompson said the recent warmth will make it difficult for the snow to build up on road surfaces during the daylight hours.

โ€œSnow will have a hard time sticking to roadways, especially during the daylight hours when temperatures will be above freezing,โ€ he said.
