State Police: Rhode Island Driver Had Drugs and Untaxed Cigarettes in the Car
He was stopped on I-84.

State Police from the Brewster Barracks stopped Daniel J. Slader, 37, on I-84 Dec. 14 for erratic driving.
They quickly suspected that his ability to drive had been impaired by drugs. Then they found untaxed cigarettes.
They ended up charging him with Tax Fraud 5th Degree (Possession of Untaxed Cigarettes), DWAI - Drugs and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.

The Rhode Island resident was arraigned in the Town of Patterson Court and sent to the Putnam County Jail; bail was set at $1,500 cash / $3,000 bond.
