State Police Seek Help ID'ing Suspect in Southeast Burglaries

Police also suspect him of stealing a car in Newburgh and ditching it locally.

The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Brewster barracks is seeking the public’s assistance to help identify the man in the accompanying photo.

He is a person of interest in multiple Southeast area burglaries. Police also believe him to be responsible for the theft of a white 2007 GMC Yukon which occurred in Newburgh on Oct. 4.

The stolen vehicle was located in Brewster in the area of Interstate 84 and Route 6 on Oct. 6.

The suspect is believed to have ties to New Haven and Derby, CT.
