Survey For Putnam Residents On Natural Disasters
The Bureau of Emergency Services is updating its plan for coping with severe storms, etc.
Putnam's Bureau of Emergency Services is updating the county's Hazard Mitigation Plan dealing with the impact of disasters such as floods, severe storms, winter weather, extreme temperatures, and others.
They are conducting a thorough risk assessment using the most recent disaster data and information.
To help them identify not just the risks but the response to natural disasters, they want to hear from residents.

The anonymous survey should take you 15 minutes to complete. You will be asked if you live in a floodplain. If you do not know, or are not sure, check this FEMA website.
The survey is designed to help gauge the level of knowledge local citizens already have about natural disaster issues. The results will be shared with municipal, state, federal and county entities for planning purposes only.
