Suspicious Activity In Southeast: NYSP

An odd occurrence in a residential neighborhood

SOUTHEAST, NY — The New York State Police from the Brewster barracks are asking for the public’s assistance for information regarding suspicious activity in the town of Southeast. It involves two men who were trying to get into houses.

Troopers received a call reporting two white males in their twenties walking around houses apparently looking for ways to enter in the areas of Larkspur Road, South Drive, and South Road.

One homeowner interviewed by Troopers stated the unidentified males knocked on the door and stated they thought they had recently rented the home.
